Swimming and judo athletes of Brazil commented expectations for the future at press conference at Casa Brasil

This Saturday was the day to make balances at Casa Brasil. With two and four medals, respectively, athletes from swimming and judo were at the brazilian home in London and commented on their performance and expectations for the future. The judoka Mayra Aguiar, who won bronze for the category until 78kg, said she is optimistic knowing that the next Olympic Games will be in Brazil.
"I know I can go further. It will be great (to compete in the Games in Rio), because I love to compete at home. We have all the necessary infrastructure to make a great competition," said Mayra, who is from the state of Rio Grande do Sul and just turned 22 years old. After the press conference, Sarah Menezes (gold), Mayra Aguiar (bronze), Felipe Kitadai (bronze) and Rafael Silva (bronze) posed for photos in the courtyard of Somerset House, where Casa Brasil is located.
Cesar Cielo, who won the 50m freestyle and placed second in the 100m freestyle in Beijing 2008 was also interviewed in Casa Brasil on Saturday, after winning a bronze in the 50m freestyle. Like him, the swimmer Thiago Pereira also won a bronze and Brazil attended the House.
